Yuvan Is Gearing Up For His 100th Film - BRIYANI

The young and talented music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is having big time releasing his Chakri Toleti directed Billa 2 today featuring Thala Ajith, Parvaty Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the lead roles, is gearing up for his 100th film.

Yes, Yuvan has scored the music for 99 movies till date and has recently signed his 100th movie with director Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan's 100th movie is titled as Biriyani that features Karthi and Richa Gangopadhayay in the lead roles. Confirming the news Yuvan says, "Good news to my friends and fans, Biryani is my 100th movie, really excited to work with Venkat Prabhu, Premgi Amaren and Vasuki Bhaskar."

Will AR Rahman take the Yuvan way?

Malayalam director Shajoon Kariyal is all set to begin his next venture. The film is about five friends and a two-hour incident they come across. Biju Menon, Lal, Suresh Krishna, P Sukumar and Sunil Babu play the five friends and Biju, who is also the co-producer of the film plays a percussionist from AR Rahman’s band.
So, the makers are planning to bring AR Rahman on board, not to compose music, but to do a cameo in the film. They are also hoping the ace composer would give his nod for this.

Yuvan's anthem for school children

Director Ram of Katradhu Thamizh fame is ready with his next movie titled Thanga Meengal. This Gautham Menon production has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is about the beautiful relationship between a father and his daughter. Trust Ram to come up with yet another classic after the cult status that his first movie with Jiiva has achieved.
Ram is also playing the lead role in this project after Gautham was so convinced following Ram's story narration. Rohini and Padmapriya are also part of the movie.
